The company also provides private banking products and services comprising wealth management services; Wakala deposit; multicurrency deposits; prepaid multi-currency cards; family trust and succession planning services; leveraged facilities and property financing services; treasury, brokerage, and IPO services; Sukuk services; asset management services; and private equity and real estate investments services. In addition, it offers corporate banking services, such as corporate online banking platform, working capital financing, term financing, global and local trade financing, escrow accounts set-up and managing, and corporate cards services for large, medium, and small businesses. Further, the company provides capital market and financial market services; interbank commodities Murabaha and Wakala tool, Spot and Wa’ad based foreign exchange, Sukuk, REIT and equity securities products, and hedging instruments; and Al Salam Invest trading and investing platform, digital trading services, and digital wealth management services. The company was formerly known as Al Salam Bank-Bahrain B.S.C. and changed its name to Al Salam Bank B.S.C. in November 2021. Al Salam Bank B.S.C. was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Sanabis, the Kingdom of Bahrain.
