It engages in the manufacture of equipment and materials related to inspection and measurement of products, and materials used in automobiles and semiconductors; and electronic devices, plating materials for semiconductors and busbars for power distribution. In addition, it is involved in the processing of metals, which include precision mechanical parts used in telecommunications equipment and other devices, semiconductor surface mounting equipment; precision grinding processing parts for manufacturing equipment in the automobile and industrial machinery industries; precision stamping dies and stamping parts for the automobile industry; and metal processed components used in air conditioning equipment and automotive parts, stamping work for precision connector metal terminal parts, stamping and cutting work for lithium-ion batteries and HDD parts. The company was formerly known as Nissho Iwai Alconix Corporation and changed its name to ALCONIX Corporation in April 2005. ALCONIX Corporation was incorporated in 1981 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
