It operates through Battery Materials, Battery Technology, and Graphite Exploration segments. The company develops and manufactures battery anode materials and battery cell testing equipment; performs consulting services; and carries out research and development in battery development. It also manages, maintenance, and develops Mount Dromedary natural graphite deposit located in Northern Queensland, Australia. In addition, the company is involved in investment and management, and real estate borrowing activities, as well as battery technology activities. It serves battery manufacturers, materials companies, automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and consumer electronics manufacturers. The company was formerly known as Graphitecorp Limited and changed its name to NOVONIX Limited in July 2017. NOVONIX Limited was incorporated in 2012 and is based in Brisbane, Australia.
