It operates through Construction; Commercial Real Estate; Construction Materials Business; and Other Operating Departments segments. The company involved in the operation of shopping malls, self-operated counters, commercial real estate leasing, residential and building development and sales leasing, and business management consulting; investment business; apartment building management; management of senior housing and buildings; security industry; and construction and civil engineering contracting, as well as the import/export, production, planning, and related electromechanical engineering of precast beams, columns, exterior walls, and other building structural components. It also engages in building materials production and distribution; interior design, construction, and garden landscaping design; commissioning construction companies to build multi-family homes; and selling and renting real estate. The company was formerly known as Ruentex Construction Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Ruentex Development Co., Ltd. in July 2002. Ruentex Development Co.,Ltd. was incorporated in 1977 and is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
